We use responsibly sourced materials like solid timber frames, FibreGuard fabrics, and white oak legs or bases to create furniture that’s both durable and beautiful.

Yes, they are. Our fabrics feature FibreGuard technology, making most stains easy to spot-clean with just water and mild soap. For deeper cleans, professional cleaning is recommended.

You can experience our sofa collections at True Design’s showrooms in De Waterkant, Cape Town, or Rosebank, Johannesburg.

Choose from 30 to 40 Home Fabrics colours by visiting a True Design showroom or a Home Fabrics shop near you.

Can’t visit in person? Email us at info@modernist.co.za to order fabric swatches for a small fee.

Orders take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to complete, starting from order confirmation, as each piece is carefully crafted with attention to detail.

We offer a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty on our products.
