Founded in 2011, Mødernist began with a passion for restoring locally sourced Mid-Century Modern furniture of the 1960s. Our shop on 4th Avenue in Parkhurst soon became a destination for those who appreciated the craftsmanship and character of this iconic era.
As we worked with these designs, we drew inspiration from the clean lines and functional beauty of Danish modernism. This influence sparked a natural evolution, from restoration to creating original furniture that reimagines these timeless principles for contemporary spaces.
